Most of us have a list of chores we need to tackle—tasks that aren’t urgent, and, therefore, can be indefinitely postponed. Over time, these unfinished chores drain our energy.
Try “Power Hour.” Do whatever you can do, for sixty minutes. An hour doesn’t sound like much time, but it’s manageable, and usually it’s long enough to get something done.
Replace lightbulbs, run to the hardware store, sort vacation photos, clean out a closet, or drop off some items at a thrift store. It’s amazing how much can get done in just a few months, one hour at a time.
