Happiness at Work

Many of us walk around with a cubicle in our pocket—in other words, a relentless call to work, even when we aren’t at work. Different people use different methods to control this. You might try the following: 

  • Don’t check email on your days off (or at least limit yourself to only checking it once). 
  • Keep your cell phone in an inconvenient place so you won’t be tempted to check it as often. 
  • Use a computer program to block Internet access during certain periods.
