  1. Take ten minutes to clean up. Getting control of the stuff of life helps us to feel more in control of life, generally.
  2. Make a list. A list means you don’t have to worry about forgetting to do something important, plus you get the morale-booster of crossing off items. 
  3. Move around. Exercise both calms us and energizes us. Go for a short walk, take the stairs, stand up shine you’re on the phone, do some jumping jacks.
